Therapeutic Massage
Massage and healing therapies have been practiced since the beginning of humanity. Symbols depicting adults massaging their young or each other for purposes of healing and nurturing have been found on the walls of caves from the very early times of human existence.

Massage has been one of the earliest remedial practices of mankind and the most natural and instinctive means of relieving pain and discomfort. It has been used for healing; to create a sense of well-being and improve physical appearance.

Today, massage continues to be a powerful healing art, supporting and enhancing optimum health and providing healing on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. Massage and bodywork therapies are used not only in the promotion of health and wellness, but as an adjunct to medical treatment.

All ages, from the newborn to the elderly, enjoy the benefits of massage therapy. Many health imbalances have shown powerful results from a variety of massage therapy approaches.

At Healing Traditions, different massage therapy practices are utilized to meet the goals of each client:
Other healing modalities may be integrated into the massage therapy session to enhance the goals of the client with client agreement.
